R. L. Reppert, Inc. has partnered with Central Elementary School to organize a holiday drive to collect basic necessities and food items for low-income families in the Allentown School District. The holiday season is hard enough on families but these students feel that pressure more than most due to the lack of basic necessities. These students are not looking for the newest iPhone, newest video game, or newest toy like most kids would at that young age. They simply want food, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, and other basic life necessities that all of us never really think much of because we always have them. When the teachers ask the students to create lists of what they want for Christmas, these items are what they list more often than toys.
Please feel free to donate any items you wish to provide. Let’s provide a great Christmas for these 700 students so they are able to enjoy their holiday season.
Tooth brush, tooth paste, floss, shampoo (10-20oz), conditioner(10-20oz), body wash(10-20oz), bar soap, deodorant, lotion (small bottles), hair brushes, hand sanitizer (small), chap stick, tissues (small packs), and tooth brush holders.
Food
Cereal boxes (small), granola bars, fruit snacks, rice krispie treats, restaurant gift certificates (multiple smaller denominations), other food items (individually wrapped).
Clothing
Hats, gloves, socks, and hair ties.
School supplies, pens, pencils, crayons (small multi packs), reading books, coloring books, toys, board games, play dough, etc.
With the support of your donations, we will be able to provide the 700 students with the basic necessities they need this holiday season. Too many young students are in need of these basic items and unfortunately go day to day without them.
Since starting the holiday drive in 2019, we have been able to support the students of Central Elementary School during the holiday season. Below is a breakdown of the students we have helped per grade.
You may drop off any items at the locations below or contact us to arrange a pickup. If arranging for a pickup, let us know a general idea of what we will be picking up.
